The town hereby enacts a tax credit for elderly and totally disabled homeowners pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. § 12-129n, as it may be amended from time to time, for eligible residents of the town, on the terms and conditions provided herein. This subchapter is enacted for the purpose of assisting elderly and totally disabled homeowners with a portion of the costs of property taxation.
