(A) Pursuant to the authority granted by Conn. Gen. Stat. § 8-1c, the town adopts the following zoning and subdivision fees:

Application for excavation permit renewal | $200 (new, as of April 16, 2009) |

Application for amendment to zoning regulations or zoning map | $200 |
Application for construction of a campground (this fee is in addition to that required for a special exception) | $500 or $5 per proposed site, whichever is greater |
Application for annual campground permit | $100 or $1 per site, whichever is greater |
Application for permit for sign | No fee |
Public hearing, if required | $250 |
Deposit for sign under § 13.8 of the town zoning regulations | $60 ($50 of this deposit will be refunded if the sign is returned within seven days after action by the Commission) |
Application involving site plan review (no additional fee is required for site plan review when a site plan is submitted in connection with an application for a special exception or zone change) | |
Where an engineer’s seal is not required on the site plan | $150 |
Where an engineer’s seal is required on the site plan | $250 |
Application for subdivision | $200 + $100 per proposed lot |
Application lot resubdivision | $200 + $100 per proposed lot (the fee will be based on the number of new lots resulting from the resubdivision) |
If an applicant cannot submit a digital form map for review by the Commission, there is an additional fee of $250 per lot for review. | |
(B) Any person making an original application for any approval required by the zoning or subdivision regulations shall pay a fee in accordance Conn. Gen. Stat. § 22a-27j, in addition to any other fee, which may be required. (June 28, 2006)
(C) Fees for applications, certifications, permits, and other zoning related procedures shall be paid by cash, certified check, personal check or money order made payable to the town.
(D) Fees shall be payable at the time an application is submitted, except as otherwise provided.
