(A) The purpose of this subchapter is to establish a schedule of reasonable fees for the processing of applications by the Town Planning and Zoning Commission and the inspection of compliance with permits, as enabled by Conn. Gen. Stat. § 8-1c. This subchapter is necessary as the town has seen many land use applications which require a consultant’s review and inspection; such review and inspection are necessary for the protection of the public health, safety, welfare and such costs are currently borne by the town.
(B) This fee is in addition to fees required under other applicable town regulations. Applications by the town are exempt from this subchapter.
