§ 151.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates, or requires, a different meaning.
   PARK TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes, and all other woody vegetation in public parks having individual names, and all areas owned by the village, or to which the public has free access as a park.
   PERSON. Any individual, firm, partnership, association, or corporation of any kind.
   PROPERTY LINE. The outer edge of any street, highway, alley, or other public thoroughfare as described by its surveyed width.
   PROPERTY OWNER. The person owning such property as shown by the records of the County Recorder’s Office.
   STREET TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes, and all other woody vegetation on land lying between property lines on either side of all streets, avenues, alleys, or ways within the village.
   TREE LAWN. The part of a street or public thoroughfare not covered by a sidewalk or other paving, lying between the property line and the portion of the street or thoroughfare usually used for vehicular travel.
