§ 50.54 OVERSIZE MAIN POLICY.
   (A)   The minimum size for new water and/or sewer mains is established by the village as six inches in diameter.
   (B)   The size (diameter) of the proposed waterline and/or sewerline shall be approved by the Village Water and Sewer Department Superintendent. If it is determined that the village requires a waterline and/or sewerline larger in diameter than needed by the proposed development, the difference in the cost of materials will be paid by the village to the property owner/developer; provided:
      (1)   The property owner/developer request said reimbursement;
      (2)   The request for said reimbursement is approved by Village Council and the Water and Sewer Department Superintendent;
      (3)   The actual difference in material costs is clearly documented and the request for payment is submitted in a timely manner (no more than six months after acceptance of the waterline and/or sewerline by the village); and
      (4)   Reimbursement under the rotary fee policy will be based upon the project cost exclusive of over-sizing costs.
