It is unlawful and shall constitute a misdemeanor for any person to violate the provisions of this chapter, or for any person to throw away, dump or discard any type or nature of garbage or refuse on any public lands, rights of way or private land belonging to another. Upon conviction of violation of this chapter, the offender shall be punished as set forth in the general penalty in section 1-4-1 of this code. In addition thereto, the court shall have power to issue an injunction against further or continued violation of the terms or intent of this chapter. (1977 Code § 8.12.110)
