4-3-1: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
GARBAGE: All putrescible wastes except sewage and body wastes, including vegetable and animal offal and carcasses of dead animals, but excluding recognizable industrial byproducts, and shall include all such substances from public and private establishments and from all residences.
REFUSE: All solid wastes including garbage and rubbish.
RUBBISH: Nonputrescrible wastes. (1977 Code § 8.12.010)
