10-1-2: GEOGRAPHIC AREA OF CITY IMPACT:
   A.   Map: The officially adopted and agreed upon area of city impact for St. Maries, Idaho is established by city ordinance 592 and by Benewah County ordinance 84, and is set forth therein on the map entitled "a map of city of St. Maries impact area", dated December 12, 1994. The St. Maries area of impact is defined as that unincorporated land mass which lies contiguous to the city of St. Maries, having as its closest boundary to the city the city limits of said city, as they now exist or as they may be altered by future annexation of land to the city, and having as its outmost boundary an imaginary line positioned and described in exhibit A, which exhibit is incorporated into this chapter by reference. The St. Maries impact area is further divided into two (2) zones, zone 1 being the area described in exhibit A which is the outermost area; zone 2 being described in exhibit A as the area closest to the city limits.
In case a property under single deed is divided by the boundary line of zone 1 or zone 2 of the city impact area, all land under said deed shall be included in the St. Maries impact area zone which lies closest to the city limits.
   B.   Changes In Outermost Boundaries: In the event the city or the county desires to alter the outermost boundaries of zone 1 and/or zone 2 of the city impact area, or to change the jurisdiction over said areas, it shall do so by renegotiation in accordance with Idaho Code and section 10-1-6 of this chapter.
