A. Public Works Directors: All streets, alleys and public thoroughfares in the city shall be under the immediate supervision and control of the public works directors, subject to the orders of the mayor and the city council. (1977 Code § 12.04.010)
B. Building Inspector: The building inspector shall be charged with supervision of the construction of any and all streets. Upon satisfaction of the building inspector, based upon actual inspection and final approval by the public works directors that construction is in compliance with all codes and requirements, certificates of compliance shall be issued. Such certificate shall be a copy of the signed and dated inspection record as made by the public works directors and shall be issued prior to use. (1977 Code § 12.04.016)
