§ 31.61 PROCESS.
   The Village Police Chief and any or all of his or her deputies shall have the power and authority to serve and execute warrants and other processes in the village for summon, apprehension, and commitment of any person charged with violation of any provision of this code, or with any crime or misdemeanor or offense against the laws of the village or state.
