Any person who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter, shall be fined in accordance with § 10.99 of this code for each offense. The only exception is the failure to comply with obtaining a building permit in which case the fine shall be in an amount as set forth in § 35.01 for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
