Existing railroads and utilities may continue to be operated and maintained in dwelling and commercial districts, but no new railroad or utility structure other than the usual poles, wires and underground utilities shall be established in such districts except when so authorized by the Board of Appeals.

The following enumerated items are hereby prohibited anywhere within the village, excepting by a special permit as set forth herein:
(A) Dog kennels;
(B) House trailers and motor homes, excepting trailers already located and occupied in accordance with nonconforming use, must be properly connected to sanitary sewer service, with village water, separately metered and must pay the usual and customary fees for trash pickup;
(C) Junkyards;
(D) Keeping any farm animals, poultry, or any other animals for the purpose of sale or propagation; and
(E) Nursing homes.

(A) No abandoned, unlicensed, or inoperable vehicles of any type shall be left or remain on village streets or in yards or lots for more than 48 hours. Any violation of this provision entitles the village to remove said vehicles as abandoned and to dispose of same in any manner the village deems appropriate, causing the owner thereof to lose all right, title, and interest in and to said vehicle.
(B) No single-family dwelling will have more than four vehicles without special permission from the Village Board.

All yards and lots shall be kept in a clean, neat manner and any debris, rubbish, or other junk shall be removed from said lots and yards by said owners. If this is not done so within 48 hours after notice thereof to said owner, by certified mail, to the owner’s last known address, as shown by the records of the County Treasurer, and in the name the premises was last assessed for real estate taxes, the village shall have the right to remove the debris, rubbish, or other junk upon said premises and to place a lien against said property for the amount of expenses incurred therein, which shall be a valid and existing lien against said real estate.

Camping trailers, boat trailers, boats, utility trailers, commercial trailers, semi-trailers, truck cabs, or motor homes shall not be parked on any village street or parkway for more than one hour at any time. Any violation of this provision may be enforced by the village by removing said vehicle, said owner of said vehicle to pay all towing and storage charges effected thereby in order to recover said vehicle.
