Every retail junk dealer receiving a license for a retail junk store or a retail junk yard shall pay to the Village Clerk an amount as set forth in § 35.02. All licenses shall be due on May 1 of each year and shall expire on April 30 following the date of issuance, and when issued for a period of less than one year the fee to be paid shall be a proportionate part of the fee fixed by this section, providing that no fee shall be less than one-half of the annual fee.
