Such permit shall be carried at all times by the applicant to whom issued, when soliciting or canvassing in the village, and shall be exhibited by any such applicant whenever he or she shall be requested to do so by any police officer or any person solicited. A badge in which the village shall have inserted one of the photos furnished by said applicant shall be worn and conspicuously displayed by the solicitor on his or her outer garment at all times while engaged in business in the village.
