(A) Pet owners have the option to request euthanasia of their pet by lethal injection to be performed by a certified euthanasia technician employed by the Animal Control Department for a fee hereby established and collected by a designated staff member of the Animal Control Department prior to providing such service as follows.
(1) Lethal injection for animals will be a charge of $25.
(2) Disposal by the shelter $15 per dog/$5 per cat.
(3) Pre-sedation if chosen by owner or determined by staff due to aggressive behavior $20.
(B) Pet owners will not be permitted to witness the euthanasia.
