(A) For the purpose of this title the following words and phrases when used in this title shall, for the purpose of this title, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them pursuant to the Indiana Code: Bicycle, Business District, Crosswalk, Driver, Intersection, Motor Vehicle, Motorcycle, Official Traffic Control Devices, Pedestrian, Person, Police Officer, Private Road or Driveway, Railroad, Railroad Sign or Signal, Railroad Train, Right-of-Way, Roadway, Sidewalk, Street or Highway, Through Highway, Traffic, Truck, Vehicle.
(B) For the purpose of this title the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
(1) OPERATOR. An individual who shall operate a vehicle as the owner thereof or as the agent, employee or permittee of the owner.
(2) PARK. The standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading.
(3) PARKING. The standing of a vehicle upon a street whether such vehicle is occupied or not and whether such vehicle is accompanied or not by an operator for a period of time in excess of two minutes.
(4) PERSON. An individual, firm, co-partnership or corporation.
(5)
STOP. The complete cessation of movement.
(6) STREET. A public street, avenue, road, boulevard, highway or other public place located in the city and established for the use of vehicles.
(7) VEHICLE. A device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported upon a highway, except a device which is operated upon rails or tracks.
