(A) Hydrants. An employee of the utility must operate hydrants when service is desired by a consumer. The cost of service will include a charge for this labor, at current utility labor cost. Only utility employees, and/or members of the Rushville Fire and Street Departments, may open hydrants.
(B) Fire protection sprinkler service. Service for fire protection systems will be placed to the property line nearest the main. The consumer will be charged with the cost of making the connection and placing the service, including the cost of valves.
