§ 52.10 MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS.
   (A)   Materials. Material for all services shall be of copper, type K or plastic pipe P.V.C. Spec. PE 3306, shall be seamless tubing, and have a wall thickness of not less than .064 inch.
   (B)   Connections. No soft soldered connections will be permitted. Copper pipes may be means of approved threaded solderless, gasketless connections or may be brazed with phosphorized copper or silver copper brazing rod, which shall have a melting point of not less than 1,100° F.
   (C)   Fittings. All fittings shall be of brass and shall be in conformance with the American Water Works Standards.
   (D)   Mains. All mains shall be constructed pursuant to the specifications of the Board of Works. This provision is for the purpose of providing for future extensions of service following annexations.
   (E)   Hydrant location. The Board of Works reserves the right to stipulate hydrant locations, size, minimum specifications with any and all hydrants.
   (F)   Improvement specifications. Whenever any street in the city is improved with modern pavement, and there is a water main in such street and the existing water main connections do not meet the specifications of this section, all water main connections leading from the main to the curb line shall be replaced according to these specifications.
   (G)   Any and all improvements shall follow city, county and state standards, or any standards as determined or required by the Utility Superintendent.
