§ 34.60 EMERGENCY MEDICAL EQUIPMENT NON-REVERTING OPERATING FUND.
   (A)   The city deems it necessary for the establishment of a special non-reverting operating fund for the purchase of emergency medical equipment for the Fire Department. This equipment is to include the following:
      (1)   Latex exam gloves;
      (2)   Bandages, gauze and splinting materials;
      (3)   Combitubes (non-visualized airways);
      (4)   Stethoscopes/blood pressure equipment;
      (5)   Backboards, head immobilizers and straps;
      (6)   Oxygen, oxygen equipment to include oxygen masks;
      (7)   Suction equipment;
      (8)   EMS training equipment;
      (9)   Cervical collars;
      (10)   Automatic defibrillation supplies (such as batteries, pads);
      (11)   Basic life support equipment (BLS).
   (B)   Any fees and monies generated can be from donations, grants and from other EMS Organizations that the Fire Department provides assistance.
   (C)   The fees and monies deposited in the special non-reverting fund for the Fire Department shall be used to pay expenditures for the replacement of Emergency Medical Equipment listed above and approved by the Fire Chief or his or her designee.
