The library board is hereby authorized to accept donations of money, personal property or real estate for the benefit of such library. Title to such property shall be vested in said board of directors to be held in control by the board, when accepted according to the terms of the deed or gift, devise or bequest of such property, and as to such property said board shall be held and considered to be the special trustees.
