It is, and hereafter shall continue to be, the policy of the city that the city shall not discriminate in any aspect of its employment practices because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, sex nor physical handicap.
The city hereby elects to adopt by reference as if set out in full herein the affirmative action program to assure equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons and to encourage qualified persons to seek employment and advancement with the city.
All department heads and supervisors of the city are directed to implement the city's affirmative action program in all aspects of the employment process. (Res. 111, 5-1-1979)
