A. Office Created, Appointment: There is hereby created the office of collector of water, electrical services and licenses. The mayor, by and with the consent of the council, shall appoint a collector of water, electrical services and licenses who shall hold office during the pleasure of the mayor and council, and the mayor, by and with the consent of the council, may declare the office vacant at any time he sees fit so to do. B. Duties: The collector of water, electrical services and licenses shall collect all water charges, light and power charges and license fees. He shall turn all collections over to the city treasurer upon proper forms not less than once each month. (1960 Code, Sec. 1-502; amd. Ord. 817, 9-4-2001)
