(A)
If the city is required to provide additional police protection and/or additional emergency medical services or any other extraordinary services or equipment or if the City Manager otherwise determines that such additional police/emergency medical services or other extraordinary services or equipment should be provided for reasons related to public health or safety, the city shall take whatever action is necessary under the Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act to make available the necessary funds for the provision of such services or equipment.
(B) The city may require the sponsor to provide additional police/emergency medical services or to pay the city a fee sufficient to reimburse the city for providing additional police/emergency medical services or for providing the costs of any extraordinary services or equipment provided by the city.
