(A)
The Chief of Police shall have the authority to revoke a public assembly permit instantly upon violation of any conditions of the permit or when a public emergency arises where the police resources required for that emergency are so great that deployment of police services for the public assembly would have an immediate and adverse effect upon the health or safety of persons or property.
(B) After a permit is revoked under division (A) of this section, the Chief of Police shall notify the applicant of the reasons for the revocation in writing by mailing a copy of the revocation to the applicant by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, which mailing shall be posted no later than the first business day after the revocation.
