A. All persons or corporations issued a liquor license hereunder shall provide evidence of dramshop insurance in an amount approved by the liquor control commissioner. Said insurance shall be evidenced by a certificate of insurance acceptable to the liquor control commissioner and delivered prior to the opening of the establishment. The policy shall provide that the village shall receive, from the insurance agent, broker or insurance company, written notice of any cancellation or nonrenewal of such policy. (Ord. 774, 12-4-2000)
B. No liquor license which includes as any part of the licensed premises any public property shall be issued or renewed unless the applicant or licensee shall provide a certificate of insurance showing dramshop coverage naming the village as an additional insured with the licensee, in such amounts as may be reasonably required by the village president.
