As authorized by Illinois law (65 ILCS 5/1-3-2), the Village Code for the Village of Roxana, Illinois shall consist of the following which are incorporated by reference and made a part hereof as though fully set out herein, and are hereby adopted:
A. The “2012 International Building Code,” as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted as the “Building Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Building Code”).
B. The “Illinois Plumbing Code, as published in 77 IL Admin. Code 890, is hereby adopted as the “Plumbing Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Plumbing Code”).
C. The “2017 National Electrical Code,” as published by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby adopted as the “Electrical Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Electrical Code”).
D. The “2012 International Mechanical Code,” as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as the “Mechanical Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Mechanical Code”).
E. The “2014 ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1,” as published by the U.S. Department of Energy, is hereby adopted as the “Energy Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Energy Code”).
F. The “2003 ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessibility Code,” as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted as the “Accessibility Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Accessibility Code”).
G. The “Illinois Accessibility Code,” as published in Title 71, Part 400 of the Illinois Register, is hereby adopted as the “Illinois Accessibility Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois (the “Illinois Accessibility Code”).
H. The “2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design Code,” as published by the U.S. Department of Justice, is hereby adopted as the “Standards for Accessible Design Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Standards for Accessible Design Code”).
I. The “NFPA 101 Life Safety Code,” as published by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby adopted as the “Life Safety Code of the Village of Roxana, Illinois” (the “Life Safety Code”).
J. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to maintain on file in at least one department of the City, three (3) copies each of the Village Codes listed in Subsections (A) through (I), above, as herein adopted (collectively, the “Village Codes”). (Ord. 1046, 6-17-2019)
