(A) The village shall hold its regular election on the first Tuesday after the second Monday of September in odd-numbered years.
(B) The Village Clerk shall conduct the election.
(C) If the village regular or special elections are held in conjunction with another election conducted by a township, the village shall pay the township a proportionate share of the election expenses. If the village’s regular or special elections are not held in conjunction with another election conducted by a township, the village shall pay the township 100% of the actual costs of conducting the village’s regular or special elections.
(D) The Village Clerk is directed to file this section with the Secretary of State.
