(A) All permits shall be issued in triplicate, one copy of which is to be delivered to the applicant, one to the Building Inspector, and one to be retained as a permanent record in the office of the Village Clerk.
(B) Permits shall be issued by the Village Clerk upon payment of a fee as specified further in this chapter.
(C) With the permit shall be delivered to the applicant a placard with “Building Permit No. ____” printed thereon, which placard shall be posted in plain view of the street or highway on the premises mentioned during the process of the work. The permit shall be non-transferrable.
