Whenever any child under the age of 17 years is arrested, with or without a warrant, for the alleged violation of any of the provisions of § 131.01, the child shall be taken immediately before the Juvenile Division of the Probate Court of the county, and the officer making the arrest shall immediately make and file, or cause to be made and filed, a petition against the child, as required by state statute.
