(A) The town may purchase a crime insurance policy that provides coverage for criminal acts or omissions committed by officers, employees, contractors, commission members, and persons acting on behalf of the town.
(B) The cost of the crime insurance policy shall be paid from the General Fund of the town upon presentation to the Clerk-Treasurer of a voucher therefor and in the manner required for the payment of the other municipal claims.
