(A) Program and Board.
(1) The Town of Rossville shall take title to the Rossville Area Transportation van and keep it insured as a town vehicle.
(2) The Board of the Rossville Area Transportation (RAT) Program shall recruit and train drivers to drive the Town of Rossville, Indiana van.
(3) Any driver with a suspended, limited, or hardship license would be barred by the Board of the RAT Program from driving the Town of Rossville, Indiana van. The status of each driver's license shall be checked yearly in January.
(4) The RAT Board shall consist of five members. Each member of the Town Council shall appoint one member of the RAT Board. The other two members shall be elected at an annual advertised meeting of the RAT Program. Board members shall serve a period of one year.
(B) Termination. The operation of the Rossville Area Transportation van can be terminated at any time upon a majority of the Town of Rossville, Indiana Council voting to terminate the program.
