§ 150.02  BUILDING REQUIREMENTS.
   All dwellings built after the passage of this section shall comply with the following requirements.
   (A)   All crawl spaces shall have an 18-inch by 24-inch sump pit (suggested plastic or cement tile) located not more than 24 inches from the inside of the crawl space access opening.
   (B)   Anchoring straps that are UL approved to replace anchor bolts may be substituted and used between the foundation and sill plate, but their location shall not exceed four feet, center to center. All sill pieces shall have at least two such straps. All sill pieces shall be strapped not more than 12 inches from each end.
   (C)   The water supply link from the municipal shut-off valve in the yard to the dwelling must be three-quarter inch copper (type M minimum) or copper tubing size chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC). No galvanized steel pipe or fittings may be used. Compression joints must be used where feasible. The water meter and yoke shall be furnished by the Town Water Department. The water meter and yoke shall be installed on the side of the home by a licensed plumber and equipped with an approved shut-off valve on both sides of said yoke. Water meters shall not be installed in crawl spaces. The Town Water Department must be contacted prior to installation.
   (D)   The homeowner shall be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the sewer line from the house to the street and including the connection to the street sewer. The town shall be responsible for the sewer line in the street. The sewer line from the house to the street for a single-family dwelling shall be at least a four-inch line. The line shall be either SDR 35 or Schedule 40 PVC pipe. A sewer clean out shall be installed at grade level near the house.
   (E)   A town representative shall inspect the water line and sewer prior to covering up said lines.
   (F)   All construction sites shall have a suitable container for trash or be enclosed by a fence to prevent trash from leaving the construction site. All construction sites shall be free of loose trash, debris, and litter at the conclusion of each day and all such material shall be contained in a suitable container.
   (G)   No trash, debris, litter, materials, vehicles, or other items from a construction site may be placed, stored, or remain on any other lot, construction site, or job site in the town.
   (H)   No occupancy permit shall be issued until all building requirements are satisfied to a town representative.
