(A) The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to collect and/or receive payment for certain fees, including, but not limited to, payment for municipal services, utilities, water deposits, wastewater deposits, and shelter house rentals.
(B) The Clerk-Treasurer and/or Town Council shall be authorized to enter into a contract with a vendor responsible for receiving and processing payment for certain fees, including, but not limited to, payment for municipal services, utilities, water deposits, wastewater deposits, and shelter house rentals.
(C) Any service charges, merchant fees, point of sale fees, convenience fees, and/or any other fees imposed by the vendor as part of its service in accepting and collecting such payment shall be the sole responsibility of the person or entity making such payment and payment of such fees shall be in addition to the amount owed to the town.
