In the event the Mayor, President of Council or City Administrator shall issue such proclamation of curfew, or in the event of any continuance thereof, any police officer of the City or any other peace officer acting under the direction of the Mayor, President of Council, City Administrator or any other duly authorized agent, shall have the right to stop any person subject to the curfew found in or upon any of the prohibited places within the hours of curfew and to inquire of such person his or her name, address, occupation, destination and purpose for being in or upon such prohibited area to determine if such person is subject to the curfew. If such person is found to be in violation of the curfew proclamation or continuance thereof, he shall be subject to arrest and detention.
