197.05 LICENSE; FEE.
   (a)    Prior to making an admission charge, every operator shall, on a form prescribed by the Finance Director, make application to and procure from the Finance Director a license authorizing the operator to impose an admissions charge. The fee for the license shall be one dollar ($1.00), which license shall be valid until December 31 of the year in which the same is issued, unless the Finance Director revokes such license on the basis that the operator has failed to comply with the provisions of this chapter. Such license or duplicate original copy thereof shall be posted in a conspicuous place at each place where admissions subject to the tax imposed under this chapter are made.
   (b)    Whenever the Finance Director has reasonable cause to believe that an operator may not remit the tax due under this chapter, the Finance Director may require, as a condition of the operator's license, that the operator post a bond or other security in an amount deemed adequate to the Finance Director to assure payment of the tax levied under this chapter.
   (c)    The license issued under this chapter shall be valid only for the person to whom it is issued and for the location designated in the license and shall not be assignable.
