141.08 VACATION RIGHTS.
   Unless otherwise provided by law, by specific ordinance provision or contractual arrangement, the right of any employee of the City to a paid vacation shall be deemed to accrue to the employee in any given year only if the employee is employed on June 1 of that year. Paid vacation rights shall not be deemed to accrue pro rata and no employee who is separated from service as such, for any reason, prior to June 1 of any year, shall be deemed entitled to any paid vacation period or portion thereof, for the period of employment ending on June 1.
