(a) The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to accept cash, vehicles, and other property in accordance with the contraband seize or forfeiture provisions set forth in Ohio R.C. 2933.43 and 2925.42; except that any acceptance of real estate by the Finance Director shall be subject to approval by ordinance of Council.
(b) The Finance Director is hereby directed to place all cash received into a special Law Enforcement Trust Fund, account number 121-301-673-000, to be used solely for the law enforcement purposes set forth in the contraband statutes set forth in Ohio R.C. 2933.43 and 2925.42 or as they may be amended in the future. Such fund shall be separate and apart from all other special funds.
(c) The Rossford Council had previously, by Ordinance No. 1953, established such a Law Enforcement Trust Fund and the Finance Director is hereby directed to continue, intact, all moneys presently in the Fund.
