(a) The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to accept cash from the mandatory drug fines imposed on convicted drug offenders in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. Chapter 2925.
(b) The Finance Director is hereby directed to place all cash received into a special Law Enforcement Mandatory Drug Fine Fund, account number 111-301-655-001, to be used solely for the law enforcement efforts pertaining to drug offenses as set forth in the Ohio Revised Code. Such Fund shall be separate and apart from all other special funds. This Fund had previously been established under Ordinance No. 1952 by the Rossford Council and the Finance Director is hereby directed to maintain the moneys presently in the Fund pursuant to this section.
