All material used shall be new and of first quality and acceptable to the City Inspector. The building sewer shall be of best quality vitrified sewer pipe (ASTM Specification C13 or C200), with precast plastic or O-ring rubber joints : or best quality cement concrete sewer pipe (ASTM specification C141, C1411 and C 76), with O-ring rubber joints; or of plastic pipe of the truss or solid wall type (ASTM D2680 or D3033 respectively), with cement joints or O-ring rubber joints; or of cast iron soil pipe (ASTM Specifications A74) with joints complying with applicable Plumbing Code requirements or other material acceptable to the City Inspector. The selection of the material to be used for each specific project shall be approved by the Administrator.
