After complying with the provisions of Sections 721.20, 721.21 and 721.22, every applicant shall be examined by the Director as to his knowledge of the provisions governing the operation of taxicabs or motor vehicles for hire, and as to his knowledge of the Municipality and its traffic regulations.
The applicant shall produce evidence that he has had at least six months experience in operating a motor vehicle and shall, if required, demonstrate his ability.
