Any violation of the statute adopted by reference herein is a violation of this chapter when it occurs within the city. Any person thus violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as described in title 1, chapter 4 of this code. If a minimum fine or imprisonment is prescribed by the state highway traffic act for an offense, such penalty shall apply to a person convicted of the same offense under this chapter. (Ord.
