7-1-2: LOITERING:
   A.   Definitions: The following definitions shall apply to this section:
    LAWFUL BUSINESS: A reason for being present upon a school property which is not otherwise prohibited by statute, by ordinance, or by any regulation adopted pursuant to statute or ordinance.
   SCHOOL: Any elementary school, junior high school, four (4) year high school, senior high school, adult school, vocational school or any branch thereof or community college.
   B.   Disruptive Presence At Schools: It shall be unlawful for any person to come into any school building or upon any school ground, street, sidewalk or public way adjacent thereto, without lawful business thereon, and whose presence or acts interfere with the peaceful conduct of the activities of such school or disrupt the school or its pupils or school activities, and who remains there or who reenters or comes upon such place within forty eight (48) hours after being asked to leave by the chief administrative official of the school, or his designee in the absence of the chief administrative official.
   C.   Loitering About Schools Or Public Places: It shall be unlawful for any person to loiter about any school or public place. (Ord. XII.7, 5-20-1975)
   D.   Penalty: Any person who violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof may be punished as described in title 1, chapter 4 of this code. (Ord. XII.21, 6-15-2004)
