A. Relationship To Comprehensive Plan:
1. The Comprehensive Plan for the City of Rosemount or "comprehensive plan," including amendments adopted by the City Council, is the guiding policy document for the city. A primary intent of this title is to implement the policies and goals of the comprehensive plan while remaining consistent with all applicable requirements of federal and state laws.
B. Conflicting Regulations Or Provisions:
1. In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this title shall be held to minimum requirements.
2. Where any provision of these regulations imposes restrictions different from those imposed by any other provision of these regulations or any other ordinance, rule, or regulation, or other provision of the law, whichever provisions are more restrictive or impose higher standards shall control.
C. Abrogation And Greater Restrictions:
1. It is not intended by this title to repeal, abrogate, or impair any existing easements, covenants, or deed restrictions. However, where this title imposes greater restrictions, the provisions of this title shall prevail. All other ordinances inconsistent with this title are hereby repealed to the extent of the inconsistency only. (Ord. 2024-04, 6-4-2024)
