Any person aggrieved by the action of the chief of police or the city clerk in the denial of a license as provided in section 3-5-6 of this chapter may appeal to the city council. Such appeal shall be taken by filing with the city council within fourteen (14) days after notice of action complained of, a written statement setting forth fully the grounds for the appeal. The city council shall set a time and place for a hearing in the same manner as provided in section 3-5-12 of this chapter for notice of hearing on revocation. (Ord. XVI.55, 6-7-2005)
