§ 150.01 STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION.

The State Legislature has in G.S. Ch. 143, Art. 21, Part 6; G.S. Ch. 153A, Art. 6; G.S. Ch. 160A, Art. 8; and G.S. Ch. 160D, Arts. 7, 9, and 11, delegated to local governmental units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare.
