§ 34.06 QUALIFICATIONS; TOURS OF DUTY.

   Every person appointed to serve as a police officer of the town:

   (A)   Shall be at least 20 years of age;

   (B)   Shall be able to read and write the English language and shall be a high school graduate or hold a G.E.D. certificate;

   (C)   Shall be of good moral character; and

   (D)   Shall meet the minimum standards set by the State Criminal Justice Training and Standards Council.
