§ 34.01 ORGANIZATION; COMPENSATION.
   The Town Police Department shall be composed of a Chief of Police and any other officers and employees as shall be deemed necessary by the Board. The salaries of the Chief of Police and other officers and employees shall be fixed by the Board. The Mayor shall have general control over the Police Department and may at any time, for cause, temporarily suspend any member of the police force until the next meeting of the Board, which shall dispose of the case.
