§ 93.11 AID FROM CITIZENS.
   During the continuance of any fire, the Chief and each member of the Fire Department shall have the power to call on any person to assist in extinguishing the fire, or in removing any goods, wares, merchandise, or furniture from any building on fire or in danger of fire, to some place of safety. No person shall fail to obey the order given for the purpose aforesaid. It shall be the duty of any able-bodied person present at any fire, at the command of the Chief, to assist the firefighters in managing the hose or other equipment or to perform any reasonable service with a view toward the prevention or extinguishing of the fire.
