§ 150.18  MANDATORY ADDRESS DISPLAY.
   (A)   All single-family dwellings built after September 1, 1998, multi-family dwellings, commercial buildings, warehouses, and industrial buildings located in the Village shall have on display on the outside wall facing the street, or other location on the property approved by a Village public safety officer, numbers representing the address for that property.  The numbers must be clearly visible from the street so that emergency personnel, including those for the Police and Fire/Rescue Departments, can read those numbers from the street.
   (B)   All structures under construction, including but not limited to single-family dwellings, multi-family dwellings, commercial buildings, and industrial buildings, must have on display at the job site before construction begins a sign with the address, so that the sign can be read by emergency personnel, including the Police and Fire/Rescue Departments, from the street.
   (C)   All multi-tenant commercial buildings with secondary or back doors must post the address above those doors so that they can be read by emergency personnel, including the Police and Fire/Rescue Departments, from the street, if any, or from the parking lot.
