§ 150.17  FENCES.
   (A)   Any fence and/or wall in existence on February 18, 1982 shall be exempt from this section.
   (B)   This section shall be enforced by the Zoning Administrator.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or construct or cause to be erected or constructed any fence and/or wall:
      (1)   In residence districts, over 4 feet in height in front yards and over 6 feet in height in rear and side yards; or
      (2)   In nonresidence districts, over 6 feet in height.  Two courses of barbed wire may be installed above the top line of a 6-foot chain link fence.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, install, or maintain any electrically-charged fence within the Village.
   (E)   All fences and the premises surrounding the same shall be maintained by the owner thereof in a clean, sanitary and inoffensive condition and free and clear of all obnoxious substances, rubbish, and weeds.
